Mahima Makwana started auditioning for acting at the age of 10 and also appeared in a few TV commercials.
Television
Mahima Makwana started her television career as a child artist in 2008, playing a small role in the Colors TV serial Mohe Rang De.
She appeared in Colors TV serial Balika Vadhu in 2009, in which she played the child role of Gauri. In the same year, she appeared in the Star One TV serial Mile Jab Hum Tum in the child role of Nupur Bhushan.
She appeared in the role of Sonam Dhillon/Sonu in Imagine TV’s serial Saware Sabke Sapne Preeto from 2011 to 2012.
After that, she appeared in many TV serials like Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke (2012–2015), Dil Ki Baatein Dil Hi Jaane (2015), Adhuri Kahaani Hamari (2015–2016), Rishton Ka Chakravyuh (2017–2018), Maryam Khan – Reporting Live (2018–2019), and Shubharambh (2019–2020).
